REALM Global to Publish 'The Age of the Trusted,' a Crowdsourced Standard for Luxury Real Estate Advisors

REALM Global, the invitation-only network of the world’s most prolific luxury real estate advisors, will publish The Age of the Trusted (working title) with Greenleaf Book Group, the organization announced in October 2026. The book, which REALM describes as the definitive guide to luxury advisory, will be written collectively by leading advisors and the wealth managers and family office principals who serve alongside them. The announcement comes as trillions of dollars in private wealth are changing hands, raising the stakes for families seeking trusted counsel.

The guide will be developed at the REALM Global Collective, May 17–19, 2027, at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin, where 250 invited participants—200 senior advisors and 50 capital gatekeepers—will convene behind closed doors. Twelve councils will each draft a chapter focused on a specific cohort of wealth, including founders, generational families, the newly minted, and family offices. Each chapter is designed to close with actionable practices that an advisor can implement immediately. The Collective’s findings will be shared throughout 2027, culminating in the published compendium, with each year’s gathering renewing the standard.

The initiative arrives at what REALM calls the most consequential moment in the history of private wealth. According to Cerulli, $124 trillion will transfer through 2048, with more than half—$62 trillion—coming from high- and ultra-high-net-worth households. Meanwhile, the ultra-wealthy population has never been larger or more global: 556,850 individuals now hold $30 million or more, up 14.4% in a single year, and Altrata expects that number to reach 746,570 by 2030. Yet service quality lags. Only 17% of high-net-worth individuals describe their advisory experience as seamless and personalized, according to Capgemini’s World Wealth Report 2026.

Excellence in real estate is also highly concentrated. Among 840,000 producing U.S. agents, the top 1% close 18% of every transaction in the country, according to Mike DelPrete, Cotality data. REALM argues that while the industry has rankings and forecasts, it lacks a shared standard for advising the family itself—across generations, borders, and asset classes.

“Every family we serve already has more information than they could ever use,” said Julie Faupel, founder and CEO of REALM Global. “What they cannot find on a screen is discernment, discretion, and the quiet confidence of an advisor who will still be beside them a decade from now. That is this profession at its best. The Age of the Trusted is our commitment to put it in writing and establish a new standard of excellence for the industry.”

REALM’s membership credentials underscore its ambition. The network includes roughly 600 members across 23 countries, 40+ U.S. states, and 150+ brokerage brands, closing more than $50 billion annually at an average sale price of $2.5 million. Nearly one in three members appear on RealTrends Verified rankings, with median production 2.5 times the national ranked median. Its Wealth Intelligence Hub spans more than 220,000 verified clients with an average net worth of $28.9 million, and members exchange more than $10 billion in referral volume each year. The 2025 REALM Global Collective earned a Net Promoter Score of +84, with 92.3% of attendees saying they were very likely to return.

Dr. Stephanie Gripne, founder and CEO of the Impact Finance Center, will participate in the 2027 Collective, contributing her perspective on impact capital. “Capital is in motion as never before, and the families directing it are asking a deeper question: not only where to invest, but where to put down roots. The advisors who can answer both will define the next era of wealth,” Gripne said.

The book is intended for three audiences: advisors seeking a standard to rise to, families wanting clarity on what to expect from a trusted advisor, and gatekeepers needing a shared language for serving families as one team. REALM is now welcoming a select group of partners and sponsors to join the 2027 Collective, with limited participation from brokerages.
