New Middle-Grade Fantasy 'Element Academy' Blends Elemental Magic with Coming-of-Age Story

Independent publisher Element Academy has released a new middle-grade fantasy novel, co-authored by Adhvita Nagalla and Tashvi Kolla, now available on Amazon. The book, which blends elemental magic with relatable coming-of-age themes, aims to capture the imaginations of young readers.

The story follows eleven-year-old Amaya Abigail Ravin, a sixth-grader in Farmington Hills, Michigan, who lives under constant surveillance from tracking devices and a technology-saturated home. Attending Evergreen Academy, a private school that feels far from ordinary, Amaya discovers a connection to elemental forces and is drawn into the hidden world of Element Academy. There, students train to command powers of Nature, Water, Fire, Air, and Ice, rooted in an age-old prophecy set in the land of Golden Harmony. Amaya must confront family secrets, forge friendships, and step into a destiny that could determine the fate of harmony itself.

The novel features 24 chapters, a prologue based in myth, and an epilogue that sets up future adventures. It balances high-stakes magical conflict with emotional depth, making it suitable for both reluctant readers and dedicated fantasy fans. The authors describe it as a natural companion to Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series and Chris Colfer's The Land of Stories, ideal for classroom use and school library collections.

Adhvita Nagalla, the primary author, originally from Michigan and now based in Texas, has nurtured the vision for Element Academy since third grade. She is passionate about visual arts, writing, and humanities, and aspires to a career in law. Co-author Tashvi Kolla, born and raised in Texas, is also an aspiring attorney and creative writer who joined Nagalla to bring the story to life. Together, they aim to inspire young people to express themselves creatively.

The book is independently published and available for purchase at this link. Its release marks the arrival of a new creative voice in youth literature, offering a richly imagined world with memorable characters and a positive, life-affirming message.
