Gina Iafrate Releases Third Novel in Strong Women Series, 'Love And Betrayal'

Gina Iafrate, award-winning author of romantic fiction, has released her latest novel, Love And Betrayal, now available in print and ebook formats on Amazon. This novel is the third installment in Iafrate's Strong Women series, following The Professor's Daughter, and continues the saga of Gracy Robertson, a character whose life is marked by profound love and devastating betrayal.

Love And Betrayal picks up where The Professor's Daughter left off, delving into Gracy's married life with Alvaro. Initially believing she has found eternal love, Gracy's happiness turns to disenchantment as Alvaro's vows are broken by unfaithfulness. The story explores the catastrophic consequences of his behavior, driven by greed, jealousy, and revenge from others. Gracy's emotional journey of survival is challenging, yet she ultimately finds love, peace, and support through the intervention of caring people. The novel is set in Italy, a recurring locale in Iafrate's work that allows readers to immerse themselves in the culture and landscape.

Iafrate's Strong Women series focuses on characters who overcome staggering odds. In The Professor's Daughter, Gracy is the love child of an intense affair, taken from her dying mother and raised in hiding by her father, a professor, to avoid mobsters who killed her mother. After the threat passes, they seek peace, but the professor's death leaves Gracy grief-stricken. She crosses the ocean to find love, only to face new threats that are appeased only when her heart finds its home with a devoted lover.

The series also includes The Girl From The Cornfield, a coming-of-age saga set in 1950s Italy where protagonist Giuliana Ferrante overcomes a vicious attack to build a successful life; The English Professor, which follows Andrew Robertson's infatuation with another man's wife in Sicily; and Bestowed By Love And Splendour, a story of a broken-hearted wife who finds peace on the island of Sardinia. Iafrate's books are known for their rich descriptions of exotic places, drawing from her own travel and life experiences.

In addition to her novels, Iafrate has released Releases From My Soul, a collection of anthologies blending true stories, adventures, and poems drawn from her life. She is currently working on her seventh novel, The Shoeless Boy. A bilingual author writing in both Italian and English, Iafrate divides her time between Hollywood, Florida; Niagara, Ontario; and Europe. Her works have been exhibited at the Pier 21 Museum in Halifax and featured in publications such as Phoenix Magazine and Author's Voice. She is a 2016 Book Excellence Award Finalist.

The release of Love And Betrayal underscores Iafrate's commitment to telling stories of resilient women, offering readers narratives that explore the human experience through finely drawn characters. Her books are available at online retailers and traditional bookstores. More information can be found on her website at http://www.ginaiafrate.com.
