Legendary music executive Jerry Greenberg has partnered with Diamond Lake Minerals CEO Brian J. Esposito for the launch of his autobiography "Whole Lotta Music." The collaboration brings together two successful executives from different industries to promote Greenberg's memoir, which documents his influential career shaping American music over four decades.
Greenberg, known as a pioneer in the British Invasion of American rock, signed iconic acts including The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, AC/DC, ABBA, Foreigner, Genesis and Phil Collins during his career. He worked with writer Dr. Joy Peters from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, to pen his memoir, which chronicles his work producing Grammy winners and Hall of Fame rock stars.
The music executive's career highlights include becoming the youngest president of any major record company when he took over Atlantic Records at age 32. During his tenure, he helped break songs like Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman" and worked with artists ranging from Aretha Franklin to Michael Jackson, whom he described as the "most creative and visionary" individual he'd ever worked with on a podcast.
Esposito brings significant marketing experience to the partnership, having launched several top celebrity and Fortune 500 brands, including perfume and beauty lines for major music and entertainment figures. As CEO of Diamond Lake Minerals, a company operating in the regulated digital asset space, and overseeing an intellectual enterprise holding company with hundreds of entities across multiple industries, Esposito described working with Greenberg as "monumental."
Both executives emphasize the importance of relationships in their success. Greenberg compared working with Esposito to discovering "incredible new rock-star talent," noting that Esposito's business and marketing expertise would help make their book campaign successful. The autobiography has reportedly sold out in its initial launch and is preparing for a major release.
This partnership represents a convergence of entertainment history and contemporary business strategy, bringing Greenberg's stories of working with music legends to a new generation of readers through strategic marketing approaches. The collaboration demonstrates how cross-industry partnerships can amplify cultural narratives and preserve important entertainment history for future audiences.
